The Brock Law Firm was formed in 2015 by Annika Brock, specializing in residential and commercial real estate transactions and related services. Annika genuinely cares about each and every client, ensuring that they have a smooth transaction with all of their legal interests protected.
The paralegals at the Brock Law Firm are experienced, seasoned professionals, who likewise, take great care to ensure that clients stay informed and educated about their transaction.
With over 22 years’ experience in real estate transactions and a background in real estate litigation, Annika enjoys guiding clients through the process of buying, selling and refinancing residential and commercial real estate transactions. She assists clients with contracts, purchases, sales, refinances, construction loans, easements, document preparation, 1031 transactions, foreclosures, conveyances and more.
Annika graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1992 with a double major in Political Science and Psychology and a minor in Religion. After earning her Juris Doctorate from Campbell Law School in 2000, Annika specialized in real estate law and litigation with a firm outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, until joining the law firm of McGuire, Wood & Bissette, PA in Asheville in 2007. Annika continued specializing in residential and commercial real estate law as a partner with McGuire, Wood & Bissette until starting the Brock Law Firm in 2015.
Annika proudly served as President of the Buncombe County Bar Association and as President of the NC Association of Women Attorneys, WNC Branch. She served a 3-year terms on the NC Bar Association Real Estate Council and has been a volunteer attorney for Pisgah Legal Services since 2007.
Annika is the proud mother of two kind, intelligent and creative boys, William and Nate, who keep her on her toes.

Elizabeth is a seasoned, talented, bar certified real estate paralegal, with
over 20 years of experience. She personally cares about every client, keeping them informed, answering their questions and ensuring that their transaction is as smooth as possible. Born and raised in Swannanoa, North Carolina, Elizabeth calls Western North Carolina home and every client is a new neighbor. She loves music, her daughter, who followed her mother’s footsteps into the real estate profession, and her two kitties, who keep her on
her toes.

Myra began her real estate paralegal career in 1990 with the law firm of Adams, Hendon, Carson, Crow & Saenger. With over 32 years of experience, Myra takes pride in ensuring that every closing is smooth, seamless and as stress-free as possible for every client. Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Myra enjoys spending time
with and traveling with her family. She loves animals, especially her two sweet black
kitties, Brighton and Leeds. Myra is active in her church and a great blessing to her church, family and work family.

At the hub of the Brock Law Firm is Hannah, who manages the setup of all new matters, greets clients, answers the phones, answers questions and provides exceptional service to clients, realtors and lenders. Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Campbell University in 2021. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys a good concert or trivia night, as well as spending time with her boyfriend and their pupper, Taco.

A resident of Buncombe County for most of her adult life, Sherry Bartlett is the belle of this ball. She assists with post-closing administration, file management and office administration. But her super power lies in sharing her wit, charm, wisdom and warmth with clients and co-workers. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and her sweet feline, Neko.
